Overview
Lip lift surgery is a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance of the upper lip by shortening the distance between the lip and the nose, thereby revealing more of the pink lip tissue and improving overall lip aesthetics. It’s a surgical alternative to lip fillers, offering more permanent results.
Procedure
An incision is made either under the nose (sub nasal) or within the nostrils, depending on the technique. Excess skin and sometimes underlying tissue are removed. The remaining tissue is lifted and sutured into a higher position, shortening the philtrum and increasing the visible upper lip. Scarring is usually minimal and well-concealed.

Risks
